HKDM Food Vendors

Please fill out the food vendor application below. We expect 3000-3500 attendees, with a majority of attendees children 12yo and younger. Keep that in mind when picking your food sale options (i.e.: keep it simple, keep it quick). Reminder that HKDM does NOT provide electricity at the event.

The City of Houston requires all food vendors have either a temporary health permit or valid food truck medallion if using a food truck. These MUST be submitted to them one week prior to the event so that it can be in the HKDM file in the Mayor's Office of Special Events. Health Permit will cost $78.26 per booth/vendor – there is an Express Application fee of $55.34 in addition to the $78.26 fee for any health permit application submitted less than seven days before the event. 

Fees:
Food vendor fee (tent or food truck): $50
Food sales fee (will be given to City): $40

Other rental fees are listed below (i.e.: tent, table, chairs).

By checking this box, I/we hereby agree to participate in the 2018 Heights Kids’ Day of Music and will be responsible for all booth fees and related expenses incurred due to my participation in the Event. Step 2: Calculate and pay your booth fees

Please note that each food vendor not in a food truck must have a tent. If you have your own tent/tables/chairs, you do NOT need to rent one. We offer these as an option for organizations who do not have them. 

Food vendor fees:
Food vendor fee (tent or food truck): $50


If you are selling food or merchandise and/or want to rent a tent, table, and/or chairs, please calculate that rental fee based on the following:
Tent, 10' x 10': $25/each
Table, 6' rectangular: $12/each
Chairs, brown folding: $3/each
Food vendor sales fee (required for food sales - goes to City, not HKDM): $40
Merchandise sales fee (required for merchandise sales - goes to City, not HKDM): $30

You can add more of the same item in your shopping cart (i.e.: if you need to rent more than one table or chair, change that number in your shopping cart). Follow instructions to pay.
